To extend the life of the battery contained in this product, avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures, avoid full discharges whenever possible, and store the product at a partial charge (approximately 40–60%) if it will not be used for extended periods. If the product or battery is still functional but no longer needed, consider donation or re-use before proceeding to disposal.

B) Your role in separate collection
At the end of its life, the battery contained in this product must not be discarded together with unsorted household waste. You are responsible for delivering it to an appropriate collection point. You may hand in the product as a whole, with the battery left inside – you do not need to remove it beforehand.

Collection points accepting batteries are available through national battery take-back networks, participating retailers, and municipal civic amenity sites. For the collection point nearest to you, consult or contact your local municipal services.

D) Safety instructions
This product contains a lithium-ion battery. Do not puncture, crush, deform, disassemble, or expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C, and never dispose of it in a fire. Do not continue using the product if the battery shows signs of swelling, leakage, or damage – in such cases, handle it with care and take it directly to a collection point, avoiding skin or eye contact with any leaked substance.

E) Meaning of the symbols
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol present on the battery and/or its packaging indicates that the battery must not be discarded as general waste and must instead be handed in for separate collection. If present, the chemical symbols “Cd” or “Pb” indicate that the battery contains cadmium or lead above the regulatory thresholds.

F) Impact of hazardous substances
Improper disposal of batteries can result in the release of hazardous substances into soil and water, posing risks to human health and the environment, and can create fire hazards within general waste streams. Separate collection and recycling help preserve natural resources and prevent these negative impacts.
